Monday, June 19th – Houses for Change – Houses for Change, a national campaign to help homeless families. The money saved will be donated to Family Promise of South Palm Beach County to help homeless families. This fun arts and crafts project is an opportunity for our students to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

Time: 10:00 am -12:00 pm

What:  We will create a unique “house” collection box.  Where:  West Boca Library

Dress:  Kindness Comfy

Important – The cost of admission is $2.00 a person.  The admission fee will go towards the collection houses and the extra funds will go in “your” house to start your collection. Monday, August 8th, the houses will be collected and prizes will be given out to those with the “fullest” houses!


Tuesday, June 20th – Florence Fuller – Their Mission – Florence Fuller Child Development Centers has provided children a pathway out of poverty, inspiring them to make local and global differences through the use of their education.

Time: 9:00 am -1:00 pm

What:  Putting together a Carnival and Playing with the kids!!

Where: West Boca – 10130 18th St. S. Boca Raton, FL  33498

Dress:  In your Kindness or Carnival attire


Monday, June 26th – In Jacob’s Shoes – Their Mission – The mission of In Jacob’s Shoes is to provide new and gently used shoes, school supplies and athletic shoes and equipment to economically disadvantaged youth.  Scholarships are also awarded to children and teens for camp, athletic, education, travel, after school care and extra-curricular programs.

Time:  10:00 am – 1:00 pm

What:  We will be working in the warehouse

Dress:  Clothing that might get ruined


Tuesday, June 27th – Evolution Yoga – Yoga Mission- is physical, mental, and spiritual practices or discipline.  Learn to be “KIND” to yourself.

Time: 1:00 – 3:00 pm

What:  A yoga session

Dress:  Comfy Clothing, sandals, pony tail, towel, bring mat (if you have one), water


Tuesday, July 11th – Habitat for Humanity – Habitat for Humanity – Their Mission – At Habitat for Humanity, we build. We build because we believe that everyone, everywhere, should have a healthy, affordable place to call home. More than building homes, we build communities, we build hope and we build the opportunity for families to help themselves.

Time:  10:00 am – 1:00 pm

What:  Helping in the Warehouse

Monday, July 17th – Best Foot Forward – Their Mission – to the educational success of youth who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned and have entered the foster care system. By empowering children in foster care, Best Foot Forward helps avoid the all-too-common negative outcomes many experience.

Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

What:  Project to help get the kids ready for school

Tuesday, July 18th – Boca Helping Hands– Their Mission – For more than 45 years, Florence Fuller Child Development Centers has provided children a pathway out of poverty, inspiring them to make local and global differences through the use of their education.

What:  Working in the Food Center & Warehouse

Monday, July 24th – Pajama Program – Their Mission – Is to provide new pajamas and new books to children in need. They help children in shelters and group homes have a good night sleep.

Time: 10:00 am – 12: 00 pm

What:  Pajama Party – Wear your P.J’s!! – We are going to have a ton of fun!!

Monday, July 31st – Miracle League – Their Mission – The Miracle League’s mission is to provide opportunities for all children to play baseball regardless of their ability. For over 10 years, the Miracle League Association has made it possible for children all over the country with physical and mental disabilities to achieve the same dream as their healthy peers – to play ball.

Time: 7:00 – 8:00 pm.

What:  Volunteers serve as “buddies” to assist the players

Monday, August 7th – Forgotten Soldiers – Their Mission: FSO sends month We Care packages full of encouragement and support to our United States Military service overseas.  Our main focus is to reach those who receive little or no support from the home front.  They aim to send that little bit of home to assure they are not forgotten.  We are committed to our US servicemen and women in all world theaters, for as long as they are deployed.

Time:  10:00 am – 12:00 pm

What:  Packaging Care Packages for the soldiers – cost of each box is $25.00 (USPS Shipping Charges) – Checks made out to Forgotten Soldiers
