Scholarships are also awarded to children and teens for camp, athletic, education, travel, after school care and extra-curricular programs.

Tuesday, July 31 – Big Dog Ranch
http://www.bdrr.org Big Dog Ranch Rescue is the largest no-kill dog rescue in the Southeastern United States. It’s their mission to be a leader in the national animal welfare movement through compassionate, innovative rescue practices and transformative educational programs. Their goal is to give the gift of life to as many dogs as humanly possible, enrich the lives of those who adopt them, and in doing so, help create a better world.
Time: 10:00 – 3:00
Dress: Closed toed shoes (tennis shoes are fine) and (jeans, long pants, or knee length shorts). For your safety, no flip-flops or open-toed shoes are allowed. They suggest you bring a change of clothes, waterproof boots or shoes in case of rain while volunteering.
Where: Big Dog Ranch Rescue, 14444 Okeechobee Blvd Loxahatchee Groves, FL 33470 – When you come in the Ranch turn right, follow the road around until you pass a construction trailer, park there and then proceed to the picnic tables under the trees in front of the house.

Best Foot Forward
www.bestfoot.org Their Mission – to the educational success of youth who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned and have entered the foster care system. By empowering children in foster care, Best Foot Forward helps avoid the all-too-common negative outcomes many experience.
BFF will be moving to a bigger and better space this summer! The date is not set, but, they will be needing our help when it is! We will keep you posted as to where and when!!
